This is one of my favourite quotes. Influence creates affluence, not the other way around. Every day I see people making a huge mistake about this by showing off their fancy car (which is probably not theirs) or their exotic pastimes, when their reality is far from this experience. It’s sickening. These people are making the mistake that if they look wealthy they become wealthy. It doesn’t work like that.
This space is reserved for celebrities who show off LIFESTYLE. Most of us will never become celebrities, so stop trying to pretend that you are. Stop sharing your lifestyle and instead share what you KNOW.
When you share what you know and tell people how you got there, you inspire people to do as you do. And this is the key to influence.
